This short novel would be the first part of a mega story that has been conceived. The story of this novelette revolves around a vampire Trinity, her perception of existence and of how she perceives and understands everything happening around her.
It also talks about the ‘life’ of a vampire, how they came into existence and the scientific facts behind it. The anatomy of a vampire and their basic instincts has been talked about in detail.
Below is an overview of the umbrella story and the concept.
The world is divided into three main ‘human’ or ‘human-like’ factions – the humans, the vampires and the werewolves. Among these, vampires are the most powerful while werewolves are slightly lesser. The core storyline of the umbrella narration revolves around how the humans, i.e., the humankind is divided on the issue of entering the league of either vampires or werewolves.
There are some sections of humans who ally with the vampires while some others join the werewolves. There is the third, purely human group who are independent of and resilient to fight against the two biggest threats to mankind.
The story is more about how each group tries to justify their own stand and claim the world to be solely theirs. However, there are some voices who talk of cohesive environment for mutual survival, negotiation and co-existence.
The story has different plots and storylines focusing on different characters; which assimilate into several conspiracies, warfronts and battles among the groups and into the final war ‘the Battle of Destinies’. The main or central plot revolves around one vampire clan ‘Zuten’ and its young fighter and commander Trinity. The first part of the story divulges into how the Zuten clan leads the vampires in the war of survival, in the quest of conquering the world and establishing a vampire kingdom all across the globe.
This clan is among the most powerful, oldest and biggest clans of the vampire world. It finds an extreme leader in ‘Clive’ who is determined to swipe out every enemy of his kind and those who talk of peace, of negotiation for a cohesive environment of coexistence. He puts his greatest efforts to mobilize and channelize the vampire community all across the world to build an army of world’s strongest, most powerful and most lethal vampires.
The story is not just about war and clashes; it’s also about how different individuals from different communities (the humans, the vampires and the werewolves) have different perceptions and beliefs about various things that influence their identity and existence. It reflects how they have different views on and opinions about what is right according to them and what is not. The story depicts how they take up things to create value of their own, how they behave in friendly and hostile situations and what’s their conduct in different circumstances. It’s about protection of ideologies, ethics and customs; realization of coexistence, peace and harmony; and gratification of the basic instincts.
The story has several storylines or plots which converge into a decisive battle of the three leagues. It begins with the groups’ attempts to threaten the human community to either join their side or be ready to face their fury – death and destruction. This was most strongly done by the vampires. But, werewolves were not much behind. They also indulged in threatening and urging forcefully human communities and settlements all across the world to come in league with them. Some of the werewolves threatened them while the others urged and lured them to stand with them against the ‘bloodsuckers’ which they call the vampires.
The entire human community was quite puzzled and confused about what to do. Some joined the vampires, others the werewolves while the rest remained indifferent. They didn’t join any of the sides rather they mobilized the rest of the humanity to stand up against any of the anti-human communities, inflicting war on them. However, they didn’t want war, they wanted a peaceful settlement.
They had been successful in carving out a mutually accepted negotiation to stop the war, the conflict, for several centuries. But several centuries were not enough. The ceasefire collapsed. It was broken by the strongest vampire clans and some werewolf factions.
Cohesive survival and co-existence was the essential need of the then civilizations of humanity and the others which inevitably had emerged as the next stage of the human evolution.
